Bedfordshire Assembly is an independent furniture-assembly and handyman business run by two brothers, Miroslav and Diyan Metodiev. We serve Bedfordshire, Luton & Dunstable, and Greater London.
You can reach us using the contact details shown on this website. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Bedfordshire Assembly, and "you" means the customer requesting or booking work.
For several years Miroslav and Diyan provided furniture-assembly services through Amazon's Home Services platform, where they earned an excellent reputation for reliable, high-quality work.
Bedfordshire Assembly now trades independently, on its own account. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. "Amazon" and related names are trademarks of their respective owners. Any reference to Amazon on this website is made only to describe our past work experience.
By submitting a quote request or booking a job you accept these terms. We may update them from time to time; the version shown at the top of this page ("Last updated") is the version that applies to your enquiry, and the version you agreed to is recorded with your submission.
A quote request submitted through our form is not a binding contract. A contract is formed only once we confirm the job with you.
Our quotes are based on the information and description you give us. If the job turns out to be materially different when we arrive (for example, extra items, missing parts, or work not described), we will explain and agree any change in price with you before starting.
We quote a fixed price for the job described wherever possible. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the work.
We will tell you the accepted payment methods when we confirm your booking. Any additional charges will always be agreed with you in advance — we never add charges you have not consented to.
To let us do a good job safely, please make sure that: we have safe and reasonable access to the property and the work area; the flat-pack items, all their parts and the assembly instructions are present; and the working area is reasonably clear.
If we cannot complete the work because parts are missing or access is not available, we may need to rearrange and a call-out charge may apply, which we will have told you about beforehand.
Because bookings are usually made at a distance or away from our premises, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving a reason.
If you ask us to start the work within that 14-day period, you may be required to pay for any work already carried out up to the point you cancel. Once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent, the right to cancel is lost. To cancel, just let us know using the contact details on this website.
Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to rearrange or cancel a booking, so we can offer the slot to someone else.
Occasionally we may need to rearrange — for illness, vehicle problems or events beyond our control. If that happens we will contact you as soon as possible and arrange a new time that suits you, or refund any deposit paid for work not yet done.
We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are fully insured.
We are not responsible for defects in the flat-pack products themselves (for example manufacturing faults, or missing or damaged parts supplied in the box). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
If you are not happy with any part of the work, please tell us as soon as possible and give us a fair chance to put it right. We would always rather fix an issue than leave a customer unhappy. Please report any concerns using the contact details on this website.
When you use our quote form we collect the details you give us — such as your name, phone number, postcode and a description of the job. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and to provide the service you ask for. We do not sell your information to anyone.
You can ask us what information we hold about you and ask us to delete it, using the contact details on this website.
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England & Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
